How fit are you? How do you measure fitness? What type of fit?
What might seem a simple question, can turn out to be a difficult task to answer. The 10 components of fitness; endurance, strength, speed, power, stamina, agility, accuracy, flexibility, balance and coordination, is a good place to start. Below is a PDF download that will make this task easier. In it there are 4 levels across varying components of fitness, varying from a well rounded beginner to elite athlete. This PDF will serve as a good measure to ascertain aspects of your fitness that are lagging relative to others. These are not absolutes, and do not beat yourself up for not being elite. Use it to set goals and progress through the four levels of fitness.
